Our Origins<\/h2><\/div>

The origins of the Andersen Iberia Foundation lie in the immediate and decisive response required by the 2024 deadly floods in Valencia, an event that was particularly close to the hearts of the professionals at the Valencia office, from which key management areas of the firm are led. In that context, the team\u2019s involvement demonstrated the ability\u2014and the responsibility\u2014to act with agility and commitment in situations of special need.<\/p>\n

From this experience and the close ties to civil society and the Valencian business community, a long-term initiative emerged: the Fundaci\u00f3n Andersen Iberia. The Foundation was established with the ambition of extending its impact beyond a one-time response, projecting its social work across all cities in Spain and Portugal where the firm has a presence.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Fundaci\u00f3n Andersen Iberia focuses its activities on four priority areas: education; scientific and cultural advancement; support for the nonprofit sector and volunteerism; and the social inclusion of vulnerable groups.
